The bridge PC can be a dedicated PC, or it could be a PC already in the AOI network, one of the

repair stations for example. The requirement is that all of the Omron systems are on a single,

network (because the eCube software will need access to the database and shared folder of each

AOI and REP system), and that one of the PCs (not a PC which is under a high load, like the AOI)

will be used to host the TraceCube adapter software. The network should be private, because the

Hella IT rules forbid the connection of a PC to the Hella network which does not have a virus

scanner. The PC hosting the eCube software must be equipped with a second network card,

connected to the Hella network to allow access to Itac. The Bridge PC must also have a virus

scanner installed (Hella IT rules).
