Yes, if you replace the internal lithium battery (3V CR2032) the configuration and gas and flow data will be lost. Replace internal battery then carry out factory mode settings F1 to F6, connect to PC and reconfigure with the correct Config400 file for this instrument. This will restore it to full working order.
