Meridian is the leader in high-end CD playback, and has held that pre-eminent position since 1984. Over the intervening 17 years Meridian introduced 20 CD player models. Advanced digital and analogue design combine in 507 to provide extremely high performance. 507 is built using 6-layer PCBs, 4 separate power supplies, the latest surface-mount technology and components which have been carefully selected to optimize sound quality.





507 maximizes sound quality by reducing jitter to very low levels. This is achieved by double buffering techniques originally created for 508. The result of this sophisticated effort is a clear, open and authoritative sound.





The digital output is precision re-clocked. The stereo analogue output uses 192kHz 24-bit advanced DACs combined with a superb direct-coupled audiophile-standard output amplifier.





The 507 matches perfectly with Meridian뭩 full range of audiophile analogue components. Meridian communications ensure simple control of the entire system with the supplied Meridian System Remote (MSR).





An RS232 port supports full control of the player.
