Aspirated Tweeter Technology (ATT™) - 통기형 (通氣形) 트위터 기술
Mezzo에는 특허 출원 중인 독자적 기술 Aspirated Tweeter Technology (ATT, 통기형 (通氣形) 트위터 기술)가 사용되었습니다. 이는 Morduant-Short의 전설적인 플래그쉽 모델인 Performance 시리즈에서 처음 선보인 혁신적인 디자인입니다. 이로써 최신 기술인 주입식 주조법 (moulding)을 사용하여, 복잡한 청각적 원칙으로 정의되는 연장된 형태의 유닛으로 분리된 인클로저 내에서 자유롭게 작동됩니다. 또한 기존의 후방 폐쇄형 (closed-back) 디자인에서 발생하는 변조를 줄이기 위해 전략적으로 통풍구를 만들었습니다.

Mordaunt-Short는 20년 넘게 연구 개발하여 완성한 알루미늄 돔 트위터를 사용하여 Mezzo를 만들었습니다. 매우 얇은 진동판과 압축 몰드 서라운드는 저공명 섀시에 올려져 있습니다. 트위터에는 액체 쿨링되는 고온의 보이스 코일이 사용되었고, 고음의 섬세한 퍼포먼스를 컨트롤하기 위해 댐핑 되었습니다.
